According to this theory, any alternating quantity can be resolved into two rotating components which rotate in opposite directions and each having magnitude as half of the maximum magnitude of the alternating quantity.
In case of single phase induction motors, the stator winding produces an alternating magnetic field having maximum magnitude of Φ1m.
According to double revolving field theory, consider the two components of the stator flux, each having magnitude half of maximum magnitude of stator flux i.e. (Φ1m/2). Both these components are rotating in opposite directions at the synchronous speed Ns which is dependent on frequency and stator poles.

This theory is applicable in series motor, repulsion motor. It means at one time both +ve,-ve magnet is created by field on armature only.

Here iam a question with SYNCHRONIZATION PANNEL related issue, as i want to design a SYNC.pannel board iam giving the 2 nos of 1MVA Generators to sync pannel , then what wil be the out put of the sync pannel, whether it wil be one cable coems from the sync panel or two cables.. as iam using two transformers to meet my load demand, so pls clear me whether two cables comes from sync panel to connect to transformers or only one cable
It is a three inch fan and i want it to rotate to other direction .I've tried cutting the wire and reconnecting them inverse like black to white and white to black ,but it won't start rotating when i plug it in that way.And then it works again when i rejoin the wire to the way it is. I don't know what causing the problem. Is there anyone familiar with these small mortor?Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks!! http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm163/sasukebloodwheel/110527-105859.jpg

how can calculate static 3phase 4wire CT & PT operated energy meter constant when calibrating using refference meter suppose we have 11kv/110v PT and 30/5A CT, the meter constant is 160imp/kwh, where meter is showing MW energy? give me solution which constant i feed in my refference meter for calibration of energy meter?
