I donno the exact number of methods of temperature
measurement. But the different measuring devices for
temperature measurement are,
Thermometers, Pyrometers, Resistance Temperature
Detectors(RTD), Thermistors, Thermocouples and Thermowells

temperature can be measured my basically two ways...
a)by direct contact method in which we
have-rtds,tc,thermometers etc. where we have to make direct
contact of transducer with the mesurend.
& b)non contact type like pyrometer
