By using a PID controller we can eliminate the offsets and
unwanted oscillations of the process variables we are
dealing with and will get the process variable value close
to the set point value.For that we need to tune the
controller properly and select proper values for P,I and D

regarding level tx i would like to know how to select the range of the level transmitter in a closed drum(steam drum or deaerator)?
