BOM ELEMENT DEALS WITH MM; PP and SD modules so it is not
only MM or SD

When you create subcontract the T- CODE to be used is M21N
and the order type is NB the reason why the Item category
changed to T or M instead of L is based on the Typs of
Material you are using . It wil be l if the material is a
not stock material Else will come to the material category

However you need not delete BOM . just change the
material category to NON stock and will get the required
item category

Its not your problem, actually from sd people.
go to BOM delete the items and create a new one there

another process is u can directly go to me21n and item
category as "L" and go to item overview there in one tab
you contain "components" icon plz click that and give the
materials there what are the materials for subcontract

Hi , anyone please clear my doubt. we maintain Price in MM and PIR , suppose if price changes we will update in PIR and also changes in PO ,do we need to update in MM?, if we update, where MM Price is reflected?
