The right hand rule is used for the generator. In generator
the current is produced so right hand rule tell us about
the current.
While the Left hand rule is used in the Motor. We
calculate the force on the conductor wires so the left hand
rule tells us about the Direction of the Force.

FLH gives the motion of a current carrying conductor placed
in a magnetic rule.so it is used for the working of
motor.FRH gives the direction of induced current when a coil
cuts the magnetic field.so it is used for the working of
generator
