I think types of switchgears should be define as per two
things.1st Useing of di-electic i.e Air,Vacume,Oil etc.
2nd operational i.e Tharmal, magnatic etc.

Switch gears are classified according to the media used foe arc quenching ,so according to the media Air,Gas(sf6 etc),Oil and Vacuum .

In our factory there is one no. of Series trip HT 6KV OCB. 1. Is it possible to measure CT out put current by 440V Clamp meter?
