Both the answers are correct except for calculation error in
No. 1.You have to consider IR drop also. Upto 25 m length 4
A/ sq mm and upto 100 m 2.5 A/ sq mm may be taken as
carrying capacities.

100 Amps. You can take current density as 4 amps per square
mm for copper. For Aluminium cable it can be taken 2 Amps
per square mm. This also depends upon many other factors
such as whether cable is under ground, or burried or
whether it is overhead. tou shouls also takeinto account
ageing factor also.
