Development is the server where all the configurations will
be done which later on move to the Quality for UAT(User
acceptance testing)& if the configuration is working
perfectly then it will be moved to Production Server which
is also called as Go-live...

Basically Dev. server is a modifiable server And Qal/Prod
are unmodifiable servers.where u can not be able to make any
changes...

Development Server :- Modifiable
Quality Server :- Unmodifiable And for Testing purpose for
End users
Production :- Unmodifiable And which is Live server

used in the organisation ex:- sap, oracle, linux, java etc

but the landscape that we use is sap

in sap when we need to configuration and customization we
use development server and for testing they use quality
server if there is no error in that then it will move to
production that is production server it is used for go live

During Asset migration. Data migration team has upload one asset has 10 years useful life and acquisition value 10.000 usd. asset has already use for 4 years so net book value should be 6000 usd. asset has already uploaded. the problem was asset should be used in 3 year. how to correct asset that has already upload in 4 years and the user want to correct it from 4 years to 3 years. how to correct the net book value from 6000 to 7000?
