what is thermo coupler and how it works..

Answer / amit antil

The working principle of a thermocouple depends on the thermoelectric effect. If two dissimilar metal are joined together ,so as to form a closed ckt there will be two junction where they meet each together. If one of these junction is heated then a current flow in the ckt.
The amount of the current produced depends on the difference in temp b/w the two junctions.
