that fixed bug has come to you for testing, and you don't
know the functionality, what do you do ?

I dont think i should know the functionality. I will open
the bug in bug tracker where Steps for Reproducing the bug
will be mentioned.
Just follow the steps and verify the fix.

cases/functional specifications to know the functionality

From where should we start writing the test cases. Say suppose we have a pageA with few check boxes, radio buttons, links, some text in it and a link on pageA takes us to another pageB.
