residual payment is clear the original invoice value through the incoming payment & create the new line item for the remaining outstanding.

full settlement of customer or vendor account. if the
customer is not able to pay the full amount of invoice. then
we can use residual account and we can close the customer
account.

* note: we must give reason code and general ledger account
for transferring of account.
