what is the diff. between order type billing and delivery type

HI,
The order type billing it that where we need to bill with
reference from the order not reference to the delivery .
Basically we can use this in case of service products where
physically delivery will not happen.
and in delivery related billing is that where the billing
document will be created with reference to the delivery
document. Like when qty will be physically delivered then
according to that the billing will be created.
These setting will be customized in the item category for
that item ( Billing relevance)
and for that you have to customisez in the order type aslo
for the delivery rel Bill type & Order related Billing
type. and u need to maintain the copy control also.
If you need to check from the billing document then u have
to open the item detail then go the the "item detail" tab
and find the reference doc field in the right corner . U
will find there as "C" for order reference and "J" for
delivery reference for that item.

I'm from the hotwel industry and has worked with le- meridien hotels. Can somebody tell, what will be the AS-IS in the hotel industry. Normally le-meridien has lot of properties all across the globe..ie manu no's of hotels...suppose we consider that there are 30 hotels in India...with headquarter in Mumbai( Sales Organisation)...and has a distribution chnl- direct sales and Division- Food n Bev, rooms and Services. Company- leMeridien, Com Code-Lemeridien Hotes. Customers comes in the hotel and stay in the hotel to have food, drink and avail services.It's doesn't have plant. Have various vendor to get the food material from in order to provide the food and services.Then what will be the AS-IS in this scenario?.Can somebody help me with this answer?
when ever i create sales order the pricing condition is not coming automatically. The discount condition types like k004,k005,k007 are comes automatically,but pr00 is not coming automatically i entered manually. What could be the reason. Pls explaine me anybady. Good morning, I have problem in Sd document. ie I maintain ten(10) sales areas and I maintain 10 number ranges respectively. But I am using only one Sales Document type. here the problem is Whenever I am creating sales order for perticular sales area , That sales area number range taken as a Sales document number. If I choose different sales area at that time I want different number range number for that sales document. Is it possible , if possible, where it is possible, who will done this work either functional consultant or technical consultant. Please give me answer ASAP. Thanks Dhana
