when will the position neutral axis shifted in beams..

basically when we draw stress vs strain curve.......
then we assume neutral axis bt try to find exact axis to know
% of steel
op section is under-reinforced or over -reionforced
in both cases neutral axis will shift

For a balance section neutral axis is fixed based on steel Fe415 or Fe 500 and concrete final crushing strength.
When section is under reinforced NA shift upward.
When section is over reinforced NA shifts down wards
