avert adverse effect of high voltage surges caused by earth
faults .

I will like to add one more reason, in case the earthing
opens between panel and ground then the fault tend to
divert directly to PLC panel. This in return will blow off
cards in PLC. Thus the earthing is kept different.

Why synchronous motor runs at a fixed speed? what is the name of that fixed speed?
