Respected Sir, I am from a hilly place called Darjeeling ,I have constructed house of 9 column o..

Answer / kohinur

Darjeeling is under high danger earthquake zone.So light weight roofing is best for your house. Your columns in water also a big concern. Because how you constructed and what design parameter considered during construction also a great concern. It is advisable to consult with a structural engineer before it's modification. How ever you are advising to stay with light weight roof and ensure the earthquake safety bend like plinth bend, seal bend, lintel bend and roof beam with stable structure and foundation.
