Calibration is only performance check for instrument, where
as System Suitability is the criteria in which we look for
various parameters like analyst, reagents, system for a
particular analysis.

CALIBRATION is just to check whether the instrument is work
according to SOP procedure or not? it is done for
minimising the errors in the reading.
whereas SYSTEM SUITABILITY is process in we check various
parameters like analyst, its qualification, reagent for
whether they are AR or RS grade. its standard, calibration
of glasswares, instruments. LAB. CONDITIONS ETC.

along with that calibration is done on perodicali butyou
must run sst in every analysis

In calibration we check the performance of instrument only by using primary or reference standards. But, in case of system suitability we checks over all performance of the analytical method against chemical reagents used, analyst, glassware, environment conditions. But, both activity closely related with each other. If instrument is not calibrated well then system suit can not meet criteria.in short calibration is precision of instrument and system suit is precision of proposed/intended method/procedure for analysis.

calibration means whether the instrument properly working
or not, when compared to reference standard based on some
parameters. if it fails it is a quality impacting insident.
system suitability means it is use full for analyst,
reagents, columns. these are intended use.

calibration is the performance check of the instrument
where as system suitability is your system is suitable for
that method we follow some ich guidelines for system
suitability parameters like resolution,RRT etc

both are the same if calibration is ok system suitability
parameters pass.when the entire system configeration is in
good condition then only system suitability will pass other
wise not pass
