what is the diff betwen calibration and system suitability?
Answer Posted / manoj k. harne
In calibration we check the performance of instrument only by using primary or reference standards. But, in case of system suitability we checks over all performance of the analytical method against chemical reagents used, analyst, glassware, environment conditions. But, both activity closely related with each other. If instrument is not calibrated well then system suit can not meet criteria.in short calibration is precision of instrument and system suit is precision of proposed/intended method/procedure for analysis.
