What is the difference between Autodesk revit structure and
STAAD pro.? How much it is useful to structural engineer in
modelling, analysis & design of RCC and Structural steel
structures than STAAD pro.?

Answer / gp
Revit structure is a Building information modeling software
especially used for structural analytical modeling so that
it can be exported to major design and analysis software.
This eliminates the necessity of creating analytical model
in a design software. Apparently, Revit structure is not a
design/analysis software. But it is not only used for
exporting to design. Building projects can be completely
modeled with all structural and non-structural elements and
the general arrangement drawings (2D & 3D views)can be
exported to AutoCAD for further use like detailing if
required. Sectional and Elevation views can be extracted
from the model anywhere and at anytime within seconds.
STAAD pro - as far as I know, is used for design and
analysis.
