injection volume accruacy test i calibration of hplc..

Answer / pratima bhandarkar

Connect union in to the HPLC.
Mobile phase: Methanol: Water (50:50)
Temperature : 25°C
Retention time :1min
Flow rate :0.5mL/min
Take one HPLC vial. Fill it with water. Weigh it (W1)
Make 6 injections with 50µl injection volume
Again weigh it (W2)
Mean volume = (W1-W2)/6*100 = µl

Limit = +-2% of the injection volume

Is This Answer Correct ?    8 Yes 3 No

injection volume accruacy test i calibration of hplc..

Answer / ravi

In this calibration water factor (0.99602)to be used to
convert the weight in volume (micro liter)
Calculation should be as follows

Mean volume = (W1-W2)/6*0.99602 = µl

Limit = +-2% of the injection volume

Is This Answer Correct ?    5 Yes 6 No
