how the grounding[earting] is achieved on ships...

long metallic bars are used fr this purpose. the bars are
fixed to the lower part of the ships and the second end is
in water. the the water is allready salty so better
earthing is obtained. and ths earthing current reaches the
sea earth without causing any hazarts.
