size of bricks with joint = 0.241*0.126*0.088,Number
of bricks =1 /(size of bricks with joint) = 1 /
(.241x0.126x0.088) = 1/ (0.002672208) =374.22 / cum we
take 375 number of bricks / cum

size of bricks with joint = 0.241*0.126*0.088,
Number of bricks =1 /(size of bricks with joint)(i am
taking half thickness of a joint with a brick size)
= 1 /
(.235x0.120x0.082)
= 1/ (0.0023125)
=432.43 / cum we
take 432 number of bricks / cum

Given Size of brick = 0.229m X 0.114m X 0.076m
Considering the brick wall thickness is 114mm
Size of brick with 12mm mortar = 0.241m X 0.114m X 0.088m
Volume of brick with mortar =0.0024 m3
Volume of brick wall with mortar =1 m3
Volume of brick wall with mortar /
No's of brick in wall = --------------------------------
Volume of brick with mortar
= 1/ 0.0024 =413 no's

Answer / rahul chaudhary
Volumn of one brick with mortar= .241×.126×.088=0.002429 m^3
So the no of bricks in 1 cum= 1/0.002429 = 411 nos + add 5% wastage
= 411+20.55 =431.55 nos
