voltage value is the Line to Line Voltage. Line to line
voltage is the voltage between any two phase lines.
In single phase there is one phase and another is earth wire
and voltage between them is 230V approx.
In two phase the line voltage is 1.732 times of the single
phase voltage and the value is 415 V approx.
In three phase system the value of voltage between two
phases are taken which is same as two phase system.
if we take the voltage diff between all three phases it will
be ZERO..

Single phase voltage is 240 volts and two
or three phase voltage is 415v because
the voltages are actually spaced 120 degrees
in between them in a cycle .Further more you
measure the potential difference in between
any of them.
