then why three phase supply having supply is 415 v ac why
not 690v ac

Single phase voltage is 240 volts and two
or three phase voltage is 415v because
the voltages are actually spaced 120 degrees
in between them in a cycle .Further more you
measure the potential difference in between
any of them.
