do we people experience any shock if we catch any one of the three phases (R Y B)in air with out t..

Answer / mother_ashok@yahoo.co.in

No. Current will flow only in the closed circuit. When we
are in air we don't have any earth contact and touching the
any ONE of the phase means we don't get any shock unless we
get any earth contact or we will touching any of the other
phase at the same time.

do we people experience any shock if we catch any one of the three phases (R Y B)in air with out t..

Answer / mubashar_635

No we will not get any shock bec we will get shock only
when there will be any potential difference so if we touch
while standing on ground then a potential difference will
be created and we will get shock.

do we people experience any shock if we catch any one of the three phases (R Y B)in air with out t..

Answer / hai

If we touch one of the phase of high voltage line there is
one unavoidable chance that our body is in air but the air
will act as a dielectric ane earth will act as negative.
means a capacitive action and a chance to get shock

Answer / ramji

This is because of electro magnetic induction
principle. Please recollect the theory of alternator or
transformer.
