Hi.. My Manager is going to initiate L1 for me. My name is misspelt in my passport, will it effect any where in the process? It was a typo done by the passport issuers, Instead of gaYAThri, they typed gaYTAhri. If it is a problem, what is the immidiate action I need to take now?

I have done Diploma in Mechanical engineering. I am going to attend interview for L1 VISA. Earlier I had worked in 3 companies and there was a gap of 6months in between. In present company i have not shown that gap.I didnt get any certificate from one company to which I havve merged that 6 months gap. How should I proceed now? please suggest me something.

My H1 visa was filed through US employer in April 2008. After one month (in may 2008), my current employer in India initiated the L1 Blanket visa processing and i got the visa in September 2008. I went to US and worked there on L1 visa for one month and returned to India. In November 2008, i have attended the H1 visa interview as it got picked in lottary. During that interview, visa officer cancelled my L1 visa and put a query on H1. But i failed to submit the required docs by November 2009 as my US employer didn't provide them. Now the same employer in India initiated L1 blaket visa and the interview is schedled in next week. Could anyone share any information that would help me to give my best in the coming interview?? Please post the information soon if u have any.. Thanks in advance..

My company will be processing the L1 Blanket visa for me and under this category are there any restrictions like I have to be in that company for the last 1 year, because my overall tenure with my current company is only 7 Months. Hi my L1 B Blanket Visa got rejected in Mumbai US Consulate. He wrote "not specialized" in the petition. Also told me that I want some more information from ur HR and give this document to him/her, see you in next couple of weeks. I guess the document he gave me was 221(g) paper (seemed like a xerox one) which said that your application is not considered in ins....definition of specialized knowledge professional why they are different etc. My HR said that this is a rejection, let us know if u receive any call in next 2 weeks. Anybody who has gone through this kind of issue please answer... Any idea what is this ? Does this mean its a complete rejection ? After how many days can I apply for another visa ? Can I apply L1B Blanket visa again and what are the chances ? I would appreciate an answer...

I was passed in 2007.did lectureship in engineering college for 2.5 yrs then did one professional course in 2010.from there i got placed to MNC now having 1.5yr of exp in software.Now my company wants to file L1 B visa for me.As dis visa is meant for people with specialized knowledge.Is this 3.5 yr of gap after my education and job will be reason for my L1 rejection.Do the visa officer check every educational certificate thoughrouly.I cant mention lectureship as my previous employer also.plz help I have my visa interview is on next week.
