Hi my L1 B Blanket Visa got rejected in Mumbai US
Consulate. He wrote "not specialized" in the petition. Also
told me that I want some more information from ur HR and
give this document to him/her, see you in next couple of
weeks. I guess the document he gave me was 221(g) paper
(seemed like a xerox one) which said that your application
is not considered in ins....definition of specialized
knowledge professional why they are different etc.
My HR said that this is a rejection, let us know if u
receive any call in next 2 weeks.
Anybody who has gone through this kind of issue please
answer...
Any idea what is this ?
Does this mean its a complete rejection ?
After how many days can I apply for another visa ?
Can I apply L1B Blanket visa again and what are the
chances ?
I would appreciate an answer...

When the Visa Officer gives a rejection paper and says that
you are not qualified for specialized Knowledge and asked
you to come back after a few days with additional
information , then it is not a complete rejection but the
consulate officer needs additional details for justifying
why you will fall into the specialized knowledge category.
If i can see your rejection form then i will be able to
suggest you according to your rejection form. Usually in
this kind of situations, the person should be to justify
his reason for applying on blkt petition and then go back
to the consulate.

I had applied for student visa in Dec 2010 and the visa was refused as the interviewer said that "I am not convinced". Then I again applied for visa interview in Jan 2011 and it again got refused for the same reason. Now I am getting chance to go to US for work (my company is sending me there). I am having 6.5 years of experience in IT and presently I am working in a reputed MNC. My company is soon going to apply for L1A for me. The reason I am worried because, the first company where I worked almost 2.7 years sold there business and presently there are no existence of it. Except the appointment as well as release letter from this company I don’t have any other documents like bank statement or form16 (As it was a small company we used to get the payment in cash.). So, in this situation if my present employer asks these documents during verification process I will be in deep trouble. Please advice me what should I do in this situation. Thanks a lot in advance.
Hi, I have my visa interview next month. My passport will expire on 11/2010. My father name in passport Achupha where as in all certificates it is Achutha. In first name in first name instead of T it is given as P in 5t character. Will it be a problem for Visa. My company X is going to file L1 Individual Petition. Can I simultaneously apply for some company in US lets say B and I clear my interview and they apply for my H1 Visa. Will there be a problem in processing L1 Individual by company A as other company B may also start processing my H1 at the same time( as it takes some time to process H1).
