Hi,
I am from Non-IT background(B.E(EEE)). I have 1 year 10
months experience in the current project as well as my
overall IT experience is same.
I have attended interview for L1 Blanket at chennai
consulate.The below are questions i faced in the interview.
1.What is your role in the project?
2.what is your specialization?
3.how many years of exp in XXX company?
4.what's your client name?
5.How many are there working in US?
6.what kind of application are you going to develop?
7.how many years of exp you have in this project?
For all the questions i have answered well.but they rejected
my L1 Blanket Visa.
Please let me know what might be the reason for rejection?
and how long i have to wait for next chance?
Is there any way to get L1 visa.

Dear,
Your case appears to be eligible. But as you might be
aware, issuance of U.S. visa is now very minimal. You have
to present your case as if there is no replacement for the
work you are going to do in the U.s.
You can surely get the reason for your denial if you let me
know how you answered questions 1,2,6 and 7.

My education is Diploma in Mechanical Engg, I have 5+ years experience in Aerospace projects. Please let me know that I am eligible for getting the L1 visa or not?
After HSC, I did diploma in computer application and technology (full time 2 years consist 4 semeseter) hence i got admission in Bsc[IT] second year then i completed 2nd and 3rd year and have my Bsc[IT] degree. Now I have education like: SSC + HSC + 2 years DIPLOMA + 2 years OF BSC[IT] 10+2+2+2=16 my question is.. am i eligible to file L1-B visa through my company? as per the rules US needs 16 years of education or 15 years education + 3 years of experience. but i dont have that much experience. so please let me know whether my education can be treated as 10+2+2+2=16 YEARS?

Hi, I have my visa interview next month. My passport will expire on 11/2010. My father name in passport Achupha where as in all certificates it is Achutha. In first name in first name instead of T it is given as P in 5t character. Will it be a problem for Visa. Right now I am working in India. I got an offer from a Company in US and they sponsored for my H1b and my petition was selected in the random selection. The Company A has told me to join them only after getting H1b i.e. in Oct'07. Simultaneously, my current company is filing L1B for me. My current company will be sending me to US as and when L1B comes. I don’t want to let go US Company offer which depends on me getting H1b in Oct. My Question is, papers for H1b is filed in Apr'07 by US Company, if papers for L1b will be filed now, what will happen to my L1B and H1B status? can i ahve both stamped? What will happen to my L1B if they process now.What i meant was that papers of L1B and H1b are being processed at the same year?

Yesterday (22nd Oct) I had my L1B visa interview. The consulate rejected my VISA stating that I should go for L1 invidual VISA or H1B Visa. He just asked me 4 to 5 questions and then started writing something on the computer. The questions were: 1)My employer 2)My education: BTECH 3)My client , inidan salary and salary in US 4)the team size of project in India and in US. I had told around 50 in India and around 10 in US. I gave all the answers correctly. Can you please let me know the following: 1)what could be the reason of rejection ? 2)What should be the time gap before filing for L1 individual VISA again. 3)What are the chances of rejection of L1 individual visa? 4)What care should be taken next time during VISA interview? Hi, I have both B1 and L1 valid visas.I will be travelling to USA next week on Business trip for a duration of 5 weeks on B1 Visa.
