Hi,
I have done my Engg in Mechanical and passed out in 2006.I
have been working with a MNC and on the project for past 14
months. I am going to file my L1. I wanted to know whether
i am eligible or not and if so will my engineering in
mechanical engg will be a constraint in getting visa.

Hi,
branch is not a concern to traell USA.You are aligible to
travell to USA.
Just they will ask some questions about your client and
roles and responsiblities over there for the project.And
how long you will be there....these questions they will
sak..

As far as I know, you are eligible. Also your Mechnical
Engg is not going to be constraint if you are going for L1
Individual. For L1 Blanket Visas it is sometimes problem.

Being in a proj is not a matter of eligibility. Check
whether u are eligible for the L1 visa type.. guess it is
only for the comp science dept...

I am having 28 years of work experience and of which for the last 21 years working with same company which has branches world wide. Now my company is iniatining L1B visa for me . My education back ground is ITI+B.Com+Post Graduation in International Business. I am Technical line. Will my education be problem for L1 B VISA.
I have my Visa Interview scheduled next week.My problem is that I have only applied to one university because I have made my home work on all the universities that offer my course work and I finally applied to this univeristy and got a admission decision in 2 weeks that I am admitted to the program for fall 2103. Hi, I have both B1 and L1 valid visas.I will be travelling to USA next week on Business trip for a duration of 5 weeks on B1 Visa. Q1.Will there be any problem to my L1 visa as I am holding it now and travelling on B1 visa? Q2.Will there be any problem in future if I go on long term on L1 visa? Please clarify my doubts. My Wife is working as Software engineer in one of the leading IT company , she already have approved L1 VISA , her company did not make use of it , we were trying to transfer her to USA directly through her company it does not seem to work , still not confirmed , now i am planning to bring my wife as depenedent(H4) to me , as i am in USA with H1 VISA , we have confusion , my wife not willing to resign until H4 is stamped , my doubt here is ,1. will a company allow to me apply for dependent VISA when she is working in a company ? 2. If they allow to process , if in case H4 is stamped ,she did not resign from job , if her company agrees to send her to USA using the same old company;s L1 , is it valid after getting H4 stamped ?

I did B.com with computers and then M.com. I worked in BPO for 1.5 years and then I moved to IT industry. I have IT experience of 32 months excluding BPO and i traveled US twice on B1 visa. Now my company is planning to file L1 for me. Am i eligible for L1 as i don't have B.E.

My surname is being mispelt in the degree certificate instead of AIYAR it has been mentioned as IYER. Other documents have the name as AIYAR and as per passport also it is AIYAR. Will this create a problem for my L1 visa. I am a Chartered Accountant and name in my CA certificate is AIYAR.
Right now I am working in India. I got an offer from a Company in US and they sponsored for my H1b and my petition was selected in the random selection. The Company A has told me to join them only after getting H1b i.e. in Oct'07. Simultaneously, my current company is filing L1B for me. My current company will be sending me to US as and when L1B comes. I don’t want to let go US Company offer which depends on me getting H1b in Oct. My Question is, papers for H1b is filed in Apr'07 by US Company, if papers for L1b will be filed now, what will happen to my L1B and H1B status? can i ahve both stamped? What will happen to my L1B if they process now.What i meant was that papers of L1B and H1b are being processed at the same year?

My L1 Blanket rejected in Aug 2014 . My company filed for L1 individual petition at Vermont service center and got RFE and then rejected on Oct 2014. Now my company if not willing to go for H1B. my company is filing again within 5 days new L1B petition at California Service center. I am just confused what need to do..
i have been rejected for B-1 visa on 13th jan 2009 now my company wants to apply L-1 visa for me . what will be the right time to apply for it ? is there any time limit in this case?
