My surname is being mispelt in the degree certificate instead of AIYAR it has been mentioned as IYER. Other documents have the name as AIYAR and as per passport also it is AIYAR. Will this create a problem for my L1 visa. I am a Chartered Accountant and name in my CA certificate is AIYAR.

Hi, I am working in TCS, I got an offer from a small company and I applied for B1 visa through tht company and it got rejected 2 months back. So now still im continuing with TCS. Hi my L1 B Blanket Visa got rejected in Mumbai US Consulate. He wrote "not specialized" in the petition. Also told me that I want some more information from ur HR and give this document to him/her, see you in next couple of weeks. I guess the document he gave me was 221(g) paper (seemed like a xerox one) which said that your application is not considered in ins....definition of specialized knowledge professional why they are different etc. My HR said that this is a rejection, let us know if u receive any call in next 2 weeks. Anybody who has gone through this kind of issue please answer... Any idea what is this ? Does this mean its a complete rejection ? After how many days can I apply for another visa ? Can I apply L1B Blanket visa again and what are the chances ? I would appreciate an answer...

Hi, I went for L1B visa interview last week and VO told me that you are qualified but apply for H1 or Indivi L1. and he has written as Not clearly approvable on I129. so if i apply again what is the success rate? and he has not given me any slip and DD return also!!

My Company going to file L1-B next week.i completed my MCM FY in 2005 & due to health problem i was not able attend MCM final exam in 2006 hence i passed the MCM final in 2007 means i did 2 Year PG in 3 Year after that i have 3 year 6 month of IT experience.Do the 1 year passing diffrence in education can cause any issue in Visa. Please Advice.

My Wife is working as Software engineer in one of the leading IT company , she already have approved L1 VISA , her company did not make use of it , we were trying to transfer her to USA directly through her company it does not seem to work , still not confirmed , now i am planning to bring my wife as depenedent(H4) to me , as i am in USA with H1 VISA , we have confusion , my wife not willing to resign until H4 is stamped , my doubt here is ,1. will a company allow to me apply for dependent VISA when she is working in a company ? 2. If they allow to process , if in case H4 is stamped ,she did not resign from job , if her company agrees to send her to USA using the same old company;s L1 , is it valid after getting H4 stamped ?
