MOTOR WILL BURNT AFTER SOME TIME
because DC SUPPLY FREQUENCY F = 0 HZ
XL= 2 X 3.14 X F X L
HERE F=0
SO XL=O
IN STARTING OF INDUCTION MOTOR ONLY REACTANCE
SO HEAVY CURRENT FLOW AND MOTOR WILL BURNT OUT

i think there is no formation of rotating magnetic filux
as there is no formation of this.....
the poles that are formed are stationary one....
coming to the type of a.c machines there are 2 types
1.induction type
2.synchronous type
in 1 type the formation of torque is only beacuse of
induction principle which will only possible with the a.c
supply... hence there is no rotation of shaft
in 2 type we give the d.c supply to the rotor hence there
is a interlocking between rotor mmf and armature mmf
hence there is also no rotation of rotor
