THEY HAVE HIGHER Z(SECTION MODULUS) COMPARED TO SOLID
SECTIONS. Z=I/Y............................

Pipe section . Momemt of Innertia of pipe section is more
as compared to solid section , so its bending capcity will
be more as compared to solid section
