according to me...in ac , the wave is sinusoidal. the wave
goes to zero twice in one cycle. The person who got shock,
thus can be put away from the supply,,,,but in case of a dc
suppl,,, the supply is direct means wave is a straight
line, and doesnot go to zero anyhow.....thus dc is more
dangerous than ac

Current passing through the body cause the muscle in the
body to contract which stops you from releasing the
conductor if the current passing through your dody is about
50mA. If a ac current of less than 30mA pass through your
body you may be given the chance to come free not only
because the current is low but also because with ac the
signal goes through the zero potential 100times in one
second at 50Hz supply. With a dc supply you will not have
the opertunity to come free as the signal does not go
through the zero potential giving you the break as what ac
does.

because the dc is high rating voltage & constant so,DC is
dangerous.

in DC source, its frequency is constant so that their current is high. in AC source, its frequency is sinosuidal form so that their current is fluctuate

DC current is dangerous because , if we observe the graphical representatio of AC current and DC current flow then we can undrestand the flow of AC comes twice to zero in one cycle but where as in AC it will be regular of constant it doesn't cross the position of zero hence probability to escape from high voltage DC shock is ... 5%.

220 dc mean 220dc..
but 220ac mean rms valu which is less than 220..
thats why dc is dangerous..

Since DC supply is continues where as AC supply is
discontinues (Sinusoidal or any other), a perticular
voltage is of DC effective(dangerous) other then that
perticular DC voltage
This is ONE of reason for using DC current for magnetic
field other then AC

How many earthings are required for motors?
why we are using DC supply in megger?
Is there any reason that a vertical motor can not be mounted horizontally ? I happen to have one and would like to use it horizontally to save money by not buying a new horizontal motor.
In transmission line the line power loss only accured at resistance the inductance and capacitance wont consume power is it correct?
Can anyone explain about Control and power circuits of star delta starter & DOL starter ? How it works? please!
where is the need for short circuit test for 3 see is required and why? can you explain in brief with application
When we are working on transformer(132\11KV). we are going to isolate the transformer from both HV side and LV side. then we are applying grounding on both side. My question is that we required to isolate the VT which is still connected from secondary side.?
I have a question, I visit 01 site and face a problem, there is 2.5 ton Air Con working, when air con compressor is running at that time rectifier voltages are increasing upto 290-295 v and rectifier is giving main high alarm (rectifier is APC single phase, before starting compressor rectifier voltages was 230v. when air con is going off rectifier voltages are decreasing smoothly at its actual voltages 230v. Load on Genset phases is this: Red-13.5 amp AC (Air Con load), Yellow-1.7 amp AC (BTS lights etc.) and Blew-4 amp AC (telecom system load), Genset phase to phase and neutral to phase voltages are also ok. These are 10 sites having same system and same rectifier APC brand at every site 02 genset are working but the problem is same at all these 10 sites. What will be the reason behind???
TNC switch is also available in 1NO+1NC. What does it mean ?
