THIS IS sripellirajukumar again...

INVERTER AND UPS WORKS ON THE SAME PRINCIPLE......

UPS IS USED FOR ELECTRONIC PURPOSE
EX:(For computers ........)AND
INVERTER IS USED FOR ELECTRICAL PURPOSE EX:(fans...lighting
equipments)...........

Both are used when the power is not available..these all are
for backup purpose..........

Dear sripellirajukumar,
I think UPS is uninterrupted power supply where the out put
voltage is present all the time, while in inverter the out
put voltage will be available at the time of mains failure
only.

i have already told correct answer above....
But why all these buys r telling all wronge answers ..why?..
inveter is used only for DC to AC conversion ...but not as
explained (Kunal above)...
