Transformers??

Answer / omar aziz
Every power transformer has a vector group listed by its
manufacturer. Fundamentally it tells you the information
about how the windings are connected (delta or wye) and the
phace difference betweent the current and voltage. EG.
DYN11 means Delta primary, Wye Secondry and the current is
at 11 o clock reffered to the voltage.

the primary leakage flux to the secondary leakage flux .
when the secondary currents increase .the primary leakage
flux increases and reactance increases in power transformer
the vector sum of angle is lags behind the voltage.

iii) A shunt motor runs at 70 rad/sec from a 460V supply and takes in an armature current of 100A. Resistors of 2.52 ohms and 1.64 ohms are connected in series with the armature and in parallel with the armature respectively. The field excitation remains direct from the 460V supply but the generated torque is halved. Determine the new running speed. Neglect brush voltage drop. The armature resistance is 0.4 ohms. [15]
