what is meant by magnetic flow meter ? explain its working
principle ?
Answer / rajesh
it consist of a turbine impeller mounted on a shaft which is
connected to a miniature dc motor . as fluid passes through
turbine , it rotates and velocity of fluid is proportional
to turbine speed . hence if we connect a voltmeter we get
flow reading . it is ideally a active transducer , but since
all fluids have different parameters a small voltage is
applied to turbine , but principle is same
