I applied for my H1B this year .At the time of filing the
application I mentioned London as the preferred location
for the interview.However, I might be shifting back to
India pretty soon and I may not be in UK at the time of
stamping. Will that be a problem ? Will I be able to attend
the interview in India. Is there any thing that I need to
do do shift the interview to some other location.
Please help me with this.

Hi you can attend to the interview in india. But you have to
show the residence proof and mention proper cause.
And if you want to you can also change the consulate,
but for this you have to talk to your consultant. But this
process is going to take 6 months because you need to write
a letter to your consultant attorney. and in turn the lawer
place a petition

My problem is that i do not have the marriage certificate, but I got an affidavit done with notary on my marriage. Hi, I am a BCom Graduate from Bangalore University, passed outin the year 2000. I have had arrears in my subjects while studying right from 1st, 2nd & 3rd year and few subjects a single digit marks. Now I have around 11years of IT experience as IT Manager. Apparently, I have a chance to go to the USA on H1B Visa(yet to get the letter in hand). Now my question is will the US consulate reject my stamping just because I have failed mark sheets though I got it cleared later? Can someone answer?? Thanks

Hi i hvae just attended a H1 B interview at mumbai consulate during the interview visa officer asked me few basic questions and asked me that are you going to work at client side or inhouse project for this i told him that i am going to work for inhouse project immidiately visa officer said i have cheked your company's website and there is no avidence of inhouse projects and said your company is fake asked me to come again with supporting documents as per the list given by him after 15 days time i went their with all supporting documents that time same visa officer was there, he has not asked me a single question and after 5 min time he told me thst youe compny has copied project from the another company and your company and project both are fake so don't hold your breeth because you are not going to get the visa and gave me the 221g stating that they will contect me via email in this case. what do i need to understand? what will be the outcome ?

I am going for H1B interview at Mumbai Consulate very soon so expecting prompt answer for my case. Here is my background: B1/B2 Valid till 2016 Company C Travelled on it L1B valid till 2011 Company B Never Travelled on it H1B Valid Petition till 2011 Company A Not Stamped yet. Going for it. 1. Is there any problem getting H1B stamped as I have not travelled on L1B? 2. Will my L1B cancelled, once H1B got stamped? 3.
