I applied for my H1B this year .At the time of filing the
application I mentioned London as the preferred location
for the interview.However, I might be shifting back to
India pretty soon and I may not be in UK at the time of
stamping. Will that be a problem ? Will I be able to attend
the interview in India. Is there any thing that I need to
do do shift the interview to some other location.
Please help me with this.

Hi you can attend to the interview in india. But you have to
show the residence proof and mention proper cause.
And if you want to you can also change the consulate,
but for this you have to talk to your consultant. But this
process is going to take 6 months because you need to write
a letter to your consultant attorney. and in turn the lawer
place a petition

Hi, I am a BCom Graduate from Bangalore University, passed outin the year 2000. I have had arrears in my subjects while studying right from 1st, 2nd & 3rd year and few subjects a single digit marks. Now I have around 11years of IT experience as IT Manager. Apparently, I have a chance to go to the USA on H1B Visa(yet to get the letter in hand). I was attened for H1b in chennai embassy,on nov14th 2005, but its in Admin Query, after few months exactly 364 days i got a personnel interview, in that they said we r sending ur file to INS because u dont have background computers, but in MBA i have computers subject i said, and i too worked in Canada for 1.5 years. Till Now i did't get the status, no response what to do....
