Form Factor is the ratio of R.M.S by Average Value of
current or voltage.
we know,
R.M.S value=0.707
and Avg Value=0636
Therefore,
RMS 0.707
FF=-------=-------=1.11
Avg 0.636

its also use to represnt the waveform of any voltage or
current signal. Closer the value to 1.11 (for a sinousoidal
signal), better is the resemblence of the waveform with a
sinuosoidal signal.
