SINGLE PHASE CIRCUIT three phase circuit
V(PHASE)= V(LINE)/1.732 KVA = I*V*PF*1.732
= 254V I = KVA/V*PF*1.732
THEREFORE I = KVA/V = 1000/(440*.8*1.732)
= 1000/254 = 1000/ 609.7
= 3.94A = 1.64A

Answer / sushant
KVA = (1.73*VICOS PHI)/1000
1 = (1.73*440*I*0.8) / 1000
I=1000/(1.73*440*0.8)
= 1000/608.96
I = 1.64 A
There is no ralation between volt,ampere & freq

Answer / deepak
KVA(Apperent Power)=1.732 * Line voltage * line Current(It
is in Three Phase System)
According to above formula
I= KVA/1.732*Line Voltage
I=1000/1.732*440
I=1.312Amp.

# 13
kva=1.732*v*i*cos
i=kva/1.732x440x0.8
i=1.6A

Answer / deepak g shinde.
When Kva known I = Kva*1000/V*1.732
I=kva*1000/1.732*440
I=1*1000/1.732*440
I=1.31 Amps
I consider this only for three phase & not for single
phase ,because there is very rare chance of 440v in single
phase.

Answer / pradeep baliyan
I KW = V * A * 1.732 * .8 / 1000
(For 3 Phase)
Kva = V*A*1.732/1000 (3 phase, V= 415)
Kva =V*A/1000 (1 Phase, V= 220)
