Neutral does not carry curret only in the cae of a balanced
load. However in the case of an unbalanced load ( 3
Phase ), neutarl definitely carries the unbalance current.
That is why we have 4 pole ELCBs - to ISOLATE THE CIRCUIT
IN CASE of fault in neutral
