In AC we have positive half cycle and negative half cycle,
that means in positive cycle period current flows out from
phase, and in negative half cycle current flows into phase.

phase to neutral.
In reality the electrons (or current) flows in one
direction for half a cycle and then in the opposite
direction for the other half cycle.
