Hello. I am not here to answer your question. I jus found a
job as software QA engr. And i am totally new to software
testing.
So can someone pls help me in the following scenario?
there is this registration screen, and it contain:
One textbox called Nickname which only accept alphanumerical
One textbox called Contact which only accept numerical,
One textbox called Email which can be filled with
alphanumerical and symbol
and One button called Register
now becos there is so many textboxes, where i can filled
with alphabet, number, symbol, "just space", leading zeros,
leading space.
there will be lots of combination.
can someone pls help..
i will be appreciated if u can post the test case of the
scenario i mentioned. Lots of Thanks

does the efficiency of test increases with increase in number of test cases.that is the more number of test cases then more efficient is the applications test,is it true?

Hi, this is murthysharma. I need very urgently about some terms which are used in use cases? Plz give reply to me, if any body know, It is really very very urgent. 1. what is the difference between basic flow,exception flow and alternative flow? 2.what are non-functional requirements in use cases? 3.what are exceptions, special requirements, business rules, assumptions, constraints. I m writting the test cases in Excel sheet. After wrting test cases for version 2.0.0 If there is new feature added in build 2.0.1, I will write test cases for newly added feature. Then 3.0 version release for testing with new feature. I will write test cases for newly added feature 3.0 But if in between 2.0.2 build release for testing with same feature of 3.0.Then should I have to write test cases for same feature again? If not --> when 2.0.2build again release for testing after 2months then How should I came to know that I have to run these test cases on 2.0.2build?
