i got i-t inspector in 2005 exam.the final result was declared on 15 december, 2007.but till now i ve not got the appointment letter.i ve been waiting for more than 1 year and i dont know how long i ve to wait.but i heard that some i-t inspectors have started their jobs......
in 2006 exam also, i had given interview.now i m waiting for the result also.....

the wait is so agonising, u know ssc is declaring all the
other result but just putting off gradute level result.we
are helpless.lets hope the fat baus move their obese hands
bcoz they r sleeping soundly in the office,they can do
nothing.It's already more than 2 years since we appeared
for this nasty exam, bye

is there anybody who knows some person selected and
recruited through ssc graduate level. ??
please get information how and when we will be selected
and recruited hoping that we will pass the exam.
i have doubt that ssc is taking only exams and no
recuitment thereafter. please confirm with some known
person already an income tax inspector.

one more thing i have noticed that every one discussing
about the cut off marks is around 400-410.
can any one clarify the total number of marks out of which
400-410 should be cut off marks because for assistant grade
paper 2 is only qualifying and for inspector grade paper 4
is only qualifying nature.marks obtained in this paper will
not be taken for preparing merit list.
Paper 1 is 200marks
Paper 2 is 100 marks
Paper 3 is 200marks
paper 4 is 100marks
paper 5 is 200marks
so for inspector grade the total number would be
600written+100interview=700
and for assistant grade the same is
700written+100interview=800
Am i right?
then if any one get 410 out of 700 will he get chance for
appointment as inspector?

SSC is meant only to select the staff and to give the list
to corresponding ministries or department. SSC has nothing
to do with the recruitment or appointment orders. This is
the duty of the respective ministries or departments to
issue appointment orders.
