Hi friends, i am glad to know thatt seats are are around
thirtyfive hundred. This could be true beacuase one time
ssc called 1800 candidates for interview and finally
selected 1000 candidates that is more than fifty percent
against the rule of one third. In my view result could come
in 20-25 december. One more thing is planniing for federal
agency in central government. They may opt to recruit from
our batch of candidates.
Final cut off should be around 400.bye

Hi, this is sahil. Everybody is confused about result and
the result date. Let me tell one thing to all of you, that
I am calling SSC from July 2008 after every 4 days till
now. They themselves don't know when the result will come.
They called nearly 6500 candidates for the post of
inspector and 6500 for the post of assistants. It means the
no. of candidates called for the interview were nearly
13000, however nearly 6400 were found selected in both
categories. Hence they interviewed nearly 6500 candidated
instead of 13000. The number of vacancies hence can be
nearly 3500. I wish luck to all of you and wish may maximum
of us could be selected. Thankyou.

in scheme a are 2300.........cut off should be

someone of u said the call for interview from ssc is 13000 is absolutely wrong there are about 6204 are common for both inspector and assistants post please refers ssc.nic.in press annoucement ok .remaining for only inspector

hi buddies this is gopal here. i d like to tell all of u
that the total number of candidates called for interview is
7000 in c g 2006. but all of u r unanimous that total no of
seats is 3500 & it turns out to be correct, that will be
agreat news. but the headache is about the date of resuts.
yesterday i went to the headquarter and they keep on
telling that the result will be declared in last week of
january. I dont know if u r correct or official is
correct.its right that they themselves r not sure about the
date.But the late is driving everyone crazy. section
officer 's result is out for which interview took place in
september but why the hell are they delaying our result
only when c g 2008 pre result is already out.

hi friends anybody please find out the exact information
about the result date.i hope somebody'father or some close
relative should be in ssc delhi.
so please do some thing and let others relax .

I ve seen many answere and almost all of the above are
nothing but just rumours. The correct position is that the
results is held up for signature and otherwise it is almost
ready. The seats are being finalised and they are also
trying to limit the number of vacancies and final
recommendations. Earlier it was told by the US(Exam) that
the result was held up due to some court case and now he is
saying that there is no full time chairman and hence the
fully prepared result is just waiting to be signed and it
is about to publish any moment. We may expect by Friday of
this week if the chairman approves the result in its
present shape. The number of seats is around 2900

Hi,
It has been written by Mr Prasad that the result is been
withheld because SSC doesn't have a whole time chairman who
could sign the final result and give the authority to his
subordinates to publish the results. The question is that if
that is the problem then how come the results of Section
Officer Audit n Junior Auditor had been published in the
recent past???? Where they published without the signature
of the Chairman??????? As far as seats r concerned I think
that it will not be less than 2250 for Scheme A, based on
the fact that: 1. About 6700 candidates where called for the
interview n 2. The ratio of vacancy will be atleast 1:3. I
don't know how others are guessing that the Vacancy of
Scheme B will be around 1200, as the SSC has not declared
any thing in this regard.It is needed to be mentioned that
about 1200 people where recruited in Scheme B of CGL 2005. I
hope that, that has not been the criterion of fixing the
seats of Scheme B this year.

SSC enquiry told me that result will be in the last week of
january and they are holding the same statment from the
last two months. Their statement can be authentic than all
of us. Hence please wait for one more month.
