Final selection will go above 470+ this time due to less

Mr. Sumit, you are saying that the vacancies will be lesser
but I have heard and many other people are also saying that
the vacancies would be much higher. Well lets see for that.
But one more thing is that arithmetic paper of 2008 was much
tougher than 2006 and we can't say that it was easier at all.

Dear aspirants,
The result of mains-2008 will be came in
the month of sep.2009.so according to previos mains-2006
the cut-off marks in English-1 was 63 FOR (GENERAL
CANDIDATE & based on querry through RTI Act-2005).so I was
not in successful candidate list. After this unfortunate
news I invaded on my weekness point & eradicated this worst
lacuna.Friends, if you have stamina to scoring up to 65 in
paper-1 then you are liable to expect for evaluation for
your another papers. I HAVE ALSO QUALIFIED IN SO(A)-2008
FROM ER REGION, KOLKATA & WAITING FOR Final result.

Hi D.K
are you doing job somewhere????
The fig. of vaccancies you have given for 2008,is as per
calculation of prelims.according to 2006.but for your
information,in 2005,about 50,000 candidate qualified in
prelims, but the vaccancy was about 2300.so,i think the
calculations of ratio is not like that, but not sure.
