voltage gain application
common emitter - about 500 at high frequency
common base - about 150 at audio frequency
common collecto- less than 1 impedence matching

guys am not contradicting any answer stated above, i accept it totally..
a doubt..
is it not the resistors connected at either ends decide the v gain in cb case..
i mean the ip n op voltages -- wont they b the same if the same values of resistors r used either side( or would the transistor go off to cut off ?? if same values r connected on either sides)
