used for
1) protection of elctrical system with CT/PT/thermal unit
etc.
2) control and inter lock
Relay is monitoring the set parameter through
CT/PT/other connected unit like thermal unit and will give
input to connected device when the set parameter cross the
set value.

why square root 2 is multiplied with line voltage in selection of LA ie 11/sqrtroot3=6.35 kv and it is multiplied with sqrt2 ie 6.35 KV*sqrt2=8.9 kv we will select 9kv.my question is why we are multiplying with sqrt 2?

- two pumps must work with them at the same time but if the first pump start the second pump  must delayed for some time to start  also , with motor rated power = 90 KW and rated voltage = 380 V and rated power factor = 0.85 lag please draw the power and control circuit for it and determine all circuit components parameters that you use it
