Above answer is correct. But Fiber Optical is wrong. This
cable is for only WAN, MAN and CAN. No one use for LAN.

1)Twisted Pair Cables.
2)Co-axial Cable.
3)Fiber Optical Cables.

i think cat5e is generally used now cat6 is also used for
giga tx both are rj45 in terminal connection and twisted
pair is used as cable

i) Twisted Pair
it has another two type : 1) Shilded (STP) &
2) Unshelded (UTP):- it has
two(2)type : Cross & Straight.
ii) Coaxial
and
iii)Fiber Optic
