CBM technique is condition based maintenance
In the recent years people have adopted this type of
maintenence technique over Breakdown maintenance

Here You have to check the condition of the machine and the
parts detoriated should be replaced depends upon its
condition and also plan has to be made to replace other
parts which are detoriated also system has to be made to
check the equipment regularly and based on time worn out
parts should be replaced

this type of the maintenance is called CBM - its devided in
two sub groups i) Prevntive maint. ii) Time base maintenance
