life of rcc structure is up to 100 year.but now life span of rcc structure reduce due to bad quality of material,poor supervision ,poor technique, adjustment of steel.so friends we are engineers avoid this type of mistakes

the cover of 25 to 40 mm is not enough probly

if cover is increased effective depth also will increase,but
lever arm will increase may be costly but may increase life
of structures in rcc
